West Hampstead Medical Centre

West Hampstead Practice is a mostly efficiently run service with staff that really show they care.

Their marketing ability however needs attention such as poor attendance at open meetings with almost zero input to market the event, poor communication with the community, limited ways of communicating with their patients means that few patients are aware of their facilities and oncoming activities related to the surgery, other than those who regularly come into the PCT.

Same day appointment

Got appt. same day as had had some unusually high blood pressure readings. Receptionist friendly and helpful. Was seen by nurse and Associate Physician who both checked my B.P. and I was given good helpful and reassuring advice. Blood pressure checked and was back to my normal. I was advised to continue taking prescribed medication and checking my B.P. at home and to see GP if further persistent high readings.

Happy with the service

Amazing staff although sometimes they are overwhelmed with too many patients they try to give excellent service
