Parkrun Practice
At West Hampstead Medical Centre, we are proud to be a parkrun practice.
Our local parkrun is held every Saturday morning at 9am in Gladstone Park.
This course begins on a wide tarmac path through the middle of the park crossing a pedestrian railway bridge into the north section of the park. After completing two anti-clockwise laps of the north section of the park, the finish is back on the playing fields.
Hampstead Heath parkrun is a clockwise 2 laps course that will take you through some wonderful ancient woodlands, along the chain of ponds and up through Parliament Hill Fields. This can be a fairly hilly walk and may not be suitable for all, depending on your level of mobility.

What is parkrun?
- Free, weekly 5k events, every Saturday morning, in areas of open space
- Over 850 locations across the UK
- Organised by local volunteer teams
- Walk, run, jog, volunteer or spectate – take part in any way that suits you
- Open to all, including those who are inactive or have health conditions or disabilities
