Getting 2nd Vaccines Early

We are bound by the national time frames for second doses which is presently a minimum of 8 weeks.

We can only email our local network partners to try and see if they can expedite this in very rare exceptional cases based on clinical need ie delaying chemotherapy or other urgent treatment.

We are aware that many pop-up and other sites are operating a walk in service if and when they have capacity offering second doses from 3 or 4 weeks. We are not able to advise which clinics offer this service. If you are keen to get your vaccine earlier than the recommended 8 weeks then you are welcome to try any of these sites that get published online.

We have some requests from patients for supporting letters that are not based on clinical urgency. We are unfortunately unable to provide any other letters.

Going aboard before your planned second vaccine date is not a valid reason for bringing your second vaccination forward. The options are either delaying the trip or getting it when you come back or getting the second vaccine abroad.
