Some referrals such as Colposcopy and Fracture Clinic may go directly to hospital. In this case please contact the hospital directly. If you are unsure please contact the practice.
You will be able to refer yourself into the services bellow. Please access the following links for further information.
You can self-refer to:
Royal Free Hospital
Tel: 0207 830 2752
Tel: 0203 447 9354
We offer routine antenatal care at the surgery for women registering for maternity care at the Royal Free Hospital via the community midwife. If you are registering at any other hospital (UCL, St Mary's) then we request that all your routine appointments are done at their antenatal clinic as we have no special arrangements with them.
iCope (Camden and Islington Psychological Therapies Services)
The West Hampstead Medical Centre has two psychological therapists and one psychological wellbeing practitioner provided by the Camden and Islington iCOPE Psychological Therapies Service. There are times when everyone feels stressed or unhappy. Generally these times pass, but sometimes there are problems that do not go away and it can be harder to cope with them. At some point in their life, one in four people feels this way. If you need support you can refer yourself through the iCope website or by phoning 020 3317 5600. You can also ask your GP to refer you directly to the psychology service.
The iCope website is also a great resource to find free, confidential help for problems such as stress, worry, depression and insomnia.
